Since I don’t officially start my new job until tomorrow I have been lounging about. I did some laundry, some grocery shopping, watching bad day-time TV and maybe a little online shopping….well I online window shopped if you will.
A few weeks ago the lovely folks at Thriv (www.thrivnp.com) sent me a long sleeved shirt to test out. I am not sure if you all know this, but it’s still pretty warm here in the F-L-A and thus I have not had the chance to really run in it. I have, however, been wearing it to lounge and launder because it’s just so freakin’ soft!
Anyway, I looked at their website and mosied over to Sports Authority where they sell it and most of their products looks like high quality stuff. Their products are natural and use bamboo and organic cotton, stuff I can feel good about wearing! It has all the moisture-wicking and anti-microbial goodness you’d expect, but seriously, the softness is out of control.I really appreciate apparel companies that use natural fabrics and strive to be high performance quality at the same time. Today, I am thankful for Thriv and their products. Head over their site and check em out. Also, check out this review from another blogger, Kim’s Running.
What are you thankful for today?
I'll trade you for a tank top – it's so cool out here! Hehe
It's plenty cool to wear stuff like that in KC! It's so cute! Love the color.
I'm thankful for free running stuff!!! and a Yankees win last night!
Well if it's too warm down there to use it, you could always shop it up to me. 😉 Yeah right, as if your size would ever fit me. :p
I love a nice soft shirt. Bonus that it's made with natural fibers!
I'm thankful for being able to run on consecutive days and only feel leg fatigue. Yay!
thankful to keep learning something new everyday…
I am thankful for finding bunny hills near my house because they still count as hills right?!?!? LOL!
Cute top!! I'm thankful to have my health and be able to run, bike and swim!! Oh and to live in a free country that allows me to do that!
Oh I wish they would have sent me long sleeve…I got a short sleeve black top…hoping to wear soon..
I am thankful for the kind words of fellow Bloggers who keep my spirits up every day. This community is amazing!!
Congrats on the new job. Best of luck!!
Love the shirt.
Enjoy your last day of freedom! 🙂 That top looks cute, I may have to check out Sports Authority myself!
I am thankful it is Thursday finally. Which means tomorrow is Friday and then the weekend is here! Whoo hoo!
Cute shirt! Looks comfy.
Good luck starting the new job!
Good luck with the new job… just think. Now you're going to get paid to blog!!!… Oh wait… I mean make sure you don't blog during your first day on the job while you're supposed to be working *wink, wink*
I wish they had sent me a long sleeve too! I got the tank in that same color. It's getting a little too cold 'round here to run in it, but you'd better believe I've been wearing it around the house and (shhhh!) sleeping in it 🙂
I'm thankful I didn't bust my jaw open yesterday while running … only my knee.
Hey B.O.B. I got the tank top! But, I could use the long sleeved shirt more. 🙂
I reviewed mine last night:
http://www.runzoerun.com 🙂 Yay!
I think it's funny that the thriv people sent you in Florida a long sleeved shirt and me in Nebraska a tank top. My review was pretty much the same "well, I can't run in it but…"
methinks you will look AWESOME in light purple. just AWESOME!
best of luck tomorrow on your first day!
I am thankful for Thursday night TV. Don't judge.
Oh, and that I snuck in an extra long run and ran 5.5 miles. That ought to counteract the KitKat I just inhaled from my office's leftover Halloween candy stash.
I'll have to check it out…although it isn't quite cold yet, I need to find warm things!
that's so cute. I hope you get to test it for running soon.
good luck tomorrow! love the color of that shirt!!
Goodluck on your first day! Love that color!!!
Free stuff – nice.
Very nice top – I don't think it would fit, and the color is not quite right for me!
I am thankful I got my running legs back after our first cooler night for speedwork and nearly 2 weeks after my big race. I actually feel like a true runner again! Gator Mike pushed me to some good 1/2 mile splits last night as we went round and round for 6 intervals.
Great Blog! I seriously read through all your old posts and got my cardio excercise in laughing for the day!
i got a thriv too! tanktop, but i haven't been able to run in it for the opposite reason, cold! plus i was tapering and then on recovery this week. the long sleeve one would be comfy though, i'm sure. i know the tanktop one is soft.
We should have traded tops — I got the racerback tank. Here in upstate NY, I could use the sleeves! 🙂
If you're interested in what I thought of the tank…
