TGIF! I'm quite happy it's Friday. It's been a long week and I've got fun stuff planned on what will be a chilly weekend here in the F-L-A.
Tomorrow AM I'm going to set out for my first run in six weeks. I'm running walking jogging a small 5K that coincides with a charity event I've been raising funds for: Bark in the Park. The money goes to the Human Society (donate here), which we all know has a big place in my heart due to this scruffy guy:
Lloyd was a rescue and the best money I ever spent. He's getting a little long in the tooth but he likes to think of himself as the George Clooney of dogs. Heh.
After the 5K I'm going to have some R & R and maybe hit up the Strawberry Festival Sunday. The Strawberry Festival is basically a fair that features the best strawberry shortcake ever!
As a final note, I wanted to show you all the video of the Best Damn Race. If you look hard enough you may be able to spot me in there....(I'm youtube famous!)

Lloyd is cute in his own way and that is all that matters. And that he loves you. Rescues are best.
