So this post is a tad late because I slept in today and think I may be getting sick. Yuck. It's either that or allergies, only time will tell. I wonder how I could have possibly gotten sick? I mean all I did was run a marathon and then have a full weekend of drinking and eating crap. Hm.
Well, it looks like I need to get better very quickly as this Saturday there is a party I very much want to attend. And guess what? It's a theme party. Oh yes. Themed. Costumes. Awesome!
Today, I am thankful for theme parties.

Now I have not decided whether I am going to go "high-dollar hooker" or just your run of the mill "street walker." Suggestions will be accepted.
I hope you all are having a great week. I did 5 miles with P-Funk last night and felt slow and out of breath. Pretty sure it's this darn cold or whatever that I am coming down with. I'm not going to stress it because I know I'll be training for something again soon enough.

Today I'm thankful for this awesome weather we're having and being able to run outside in semi-warmth!
I am recovering (I HOPE!) from some sort of illness that's only in my lungs (fun times for a runner). My husband had it first and now I have it. It started with shortness of breath - I have stairs in my house and I kept getting winded at the top :( A marathoner does not get winded climbing stairs, you know?
So lay low and try to get better. Mucinex is attacking this one nicely, I must say.

Theme parties = awesome! My friend and I are the party planners of the group and we always come up with great themes, our friends arent as fun to play along though.
Help me out, was Julia Roberts a high-$ ho or not in Pretty Woman. Also, I hope T-Pain will be there.

hahaha. and lol at glenn's comment. we had an annual pimps 'n hoes in college. basically it was an excuse to wear victoria's secret in public... which is fun in my opinion. some girls started to only wear pasties though, a little to expose for me.
